My first trip to the US, and the first time seeing my then hero, Bob Mould. Three shows in three nights at an intimate venue showcasing tracks that would later appear on the Last Dog & Pony Show album, and in the case of High Fidelity, on the Body of Song album some 7 years later. Bob was firmly anti-taping at this time so I haven�t shared this with anyone before. As well as meeting Bob at the shows, I also got to meet Paul Hilcoff, Bob�s unofficial archivist, for the first time, seventeen years later, we�re still great friends. An excellent recording from very close to the stage with my mic clipped onto the straps of my rucksack.
