Bobby and the Midnites

Bob Weir - guitar, vocals
Bobby Cochran - lead guitar, vocals
Dave Garland - keyboards, sax
Alphonso Johnson - bass
Billy Cobham - drums

Comments: this show features some hot lead guitar from Bobby Cochran (son of the great 50's rocker Eddie Cochran, who wrote the classic "Summertime Blues"), some jazzy keyboard stylings from Dave Garland, and the talents of esteemed jazz giants Alphonso Johnson on bass and Billy Cobham on drums.

I'm pretty sure this is two sets of music, contrary to the info found here: http://www.geocities.com/weirheads/weirworks/weirworks1982.html

Sound quality varies from excellent (sounding like an FOB tape) to good (but a bit muffled)...maybe the taper had to go 'stealth' for a few songs, or move from his original 'sweet spot'...we'll never know...

All we can do is....

enjoy! - Zeb
