Recorded from the bar area. The band was rather quiet, and Bobby's vocals were sort of weak.
I expected more from him. But his band was good enough to carry him through the show.

I decided to apply a 2:1 ratio dynamic compression.
This really added some fullness and punch to the recording.

My first impression on hearing Bobby’s band. They sounded like a light version of BB King's Orchestra.
And honestly I wasn’t very impressed with the performance, not enough energy.
But I went just because I wanted to see for myself what a Bobby Bland show would be like.
I’m personally not a fan of his frog-ish growl. Maybe it'll grow on me with a few more listens.

I wasn't familiar with this catalog. It took me an entire afternoon to figure out the setlist and get this tracked properly.
