Extremely quiet solo show, an empty stage, just one micstand, truly acoustic, the guitar amplified over the same condensator microphone as the voice.
That's the first problem, I had to set the levels rather high, so the cheers and applause were way over the levels and I picked up every shuffle of feet, every hushed voice (all were hushed, very quiet audience) and every bottle noise. The applause I lowered by 5 dB.
The other problems were selfinflicted. Worried that the encore might exceed the capacity of the md I tried to change it during the first encore break - but he came back so fast that the recorder was still saving the data, so I restarted it but missed the first chord of - I fixed that as good as possible by a short cross fade, but it's noticable, plus a couple of handling noises when I stuffed the recorder back into my jacket.
I changed the md during the seond encore break, but that was even shorter, so I missed the first 4 lines of the Everly song - did a crossfade again, but that's even more obvious.
If you can live with these shortcomings most of the recording sounds alright.
