Mono handheld cassette deck with auto record level from the master cassette.
Lots of LOUD clapping removed to enhance the listening experience.
Varied the volume to counteract the Automatic Gain Control.
Lowering the volume between songs and faded back up before the song starts.
Made the soft songs quieter than the rockers to sound more natural.
Not perfect but it gives the tape some needed dynamics and as a bonus it reduces the hiss between songs.
The tape was flipped at 44:13 and is now spliced together.
Editing, Volume adjustments and splices all done with Audacity.
No Eq or Noise Reduction.
Opening act was John Lee Hooker
Great Outdoor Amphitheatre tucked up in the hills north of Los Angeles.
Too bad you had to pass thru a wealthy neighborhood to get up and back at night.
Money talks and concerts stopped after a couple of years.
Here is a memory of one night under the stars with Bonnie.
