NOTES
This is my favorite Bonnie album and not just because of Taj, Lowell, Paul, Bill and Sam, et al. I think the variety of styles plus the execution is her best. There were two omissions, Let Me In and Cry Like A Rainstorm, which were replaced by Lively Up Yourself and Can't Find My Way Home, which I felt shared similarities with the songs they replaced.
A large share of the songs on the album didn't appear to stay in her live repertoire much past the 70s and a few were performed quite sparingly, which made a few selections quite easy. As such, this leans toward many recordings that are 40+ years old when rigs weren't as refined as nowadays. Some selections are a little rough but they are all eminently listenable.
Thank you to those who record, transfer, master and distribute these recordings. For this project, they are...
