Bonnie Raitt
The Beacon Theatre
NY, NY
April 2, 2016

Bonnie is touring in support of her new album "Dig In Deep", so there were lots of new tunes along with some from Slipstream (her previous release), and some old cuts. The crowd really got her fired up and emotional... she cried after Angel from Montgomery and took a few moments after to collect herself. She repeatedly thanked the crowd, and related how many of the tunes reflected her events in her personal life.

The bottom line was a stellar show. Bonnie belts out the blues and croons like an angel, not to mention playing a mean slide guitar. For an inveterate Allman Brothers fan like myself, Bonnie in April at the Beacon was a great substitute for the Allman's at the Beacon in March.
