BOREDOMS (as V8redoms)
SCALA, KING'S CROSS, LONDON
30 MARCH 2004
AUD
SQ: A-

1. Part One 56:44
2. Part Two 18:30

Boredoms were at this time: Yamantaka Eye on vocals and electronics; and Yoshimi P-We, ATR, and EDA playing drums and percussion (with some vocals from Yoshimi).

The taper decided on the mark to split this continuous set. It's as good a point as any, I guess, to make it more manageable.

I was at this show. It was a lot of fun and this recording is really clear. Eye started the show waving around two hand-held motion (light?) sensor balls. There are other more wild performances of this material out there (to follow!) but this is a special performance too (aren't they all?) and at 70 minutes it's one of the longer ones.

By the way, hope someone is going to tape the performance at ATP in March! The new format sounds interesting. Plus, does anyone have any 2008 shows with Eye playing his "Sevener" guitar contraption?

As always, hope you enjoy this, leave a comment, talk about the music, get Bored!
