"Merry Christmas Boston fans! Here is a new torrent for your enjoyment.

What can I say, this show is legendary! It's a one-of-a-kind performance in a
small venue with several momentous songs. It was also the first time people
got to check out Fran Cosmo, then the new singer for Boston. Brad Delp
surprised everybody by showing up, but was unable to sing due to laryngitis.
Dave Sikes sang "Amanda" and Fran did an admirable job on the other tunes.

Despite not getting Brad on vocals, the show still rocks. Boston was eager to
get in front of an audience and their energy really came through in this
concert, encouraged by the small but fired up crowd.

Read through the set list and you'll see that it's one of the most imaginative
sets Boston has ever put together. They even performed a few Christmas songs!
And don't miss the blues song titled "Merry Christmas Baby". It's their
standard "Boston Blues" sung with Christmas lyrics. Boston never sang it like
this ever again.

This is an audience recording made with good equipment. This recording is
fantastic, but my copy required some minor restoration work. It came to me on
cassette, presumably made straight from the DAT master. There was a bit of
hiss (due to it being on cassette) but it's not bad. I chose not to try to
remove it. My tape was also pitched too fast. It has circulated for years like
that but I finally decided to correct the pitch." - unknown
