NOTES

Unlike the freewheeling acoustic set that was night one of this stand, on night two they were very much electric and focused, coming out with 5 songs back to back with no break. This was more standard show from a polished touring band, though still with some surprises. Was it as much fun as the first night? No, it was not. Was it still pretty great? Yes, it was. A personal highlight was "Turn for the Worse" which they played because we begged. I also really like the version of "Kerosene" they were doing at the time with just Brian and Tom on electric guitars, and Brian completely going off on the final solo. Brian's guitar playing and tone are stellar throughout this show.

Unlike night one there were no recording or sound problems, the sound is very good throughout. Thanks to Steve B for bringing the right patch cable, it may well be that I patched out of his deck at this show.

Long live Brian Henneman and the Bottle Rockets.
