Notes:
Here's my first live show in 19 months! Felt really good but a little strange too. I had to go see young Taz
for his 1st trip to Ohio, I think. I first saw Taz in New Orleans during Jazz Fest in 2014 when he was not yet
11 years old and I've seen him several more times down there since. It's wild for me to see him now at 18 and almost
all grown up. He's still very advanced musically for his age for sure. Let's all hope he has a long life and career!
I think this club is very new and was nice and clean, but sound-wise it was echoey and I thought the show's mix
wasn't great. Taz's vocals were a little buried and it was all a bit bass heavy. On the good side I guess, the
crowd was very light and I got almost no noise standing by myself in the middle of the floor, so the sound is about as
good as I can do. Samples below. Enjoy!
