Notes:
Unfortunately I lost my way to venue. Although this little village is not too far away from my home, I've actually never been in that particular area. When I finally arrived there the show had already begun, I think I may have missed about 10 or 15 minutes. With little more than 100 folks in the audience the venue was packed, so I had a hard time to find a place to do my recording. Setting up the full equipment seemed impossible now so I confined myself to using the internal mics only. The recording position left off the stage on the stairs to gallery was less than ideal which shows in that the vocals and the guitar are a bit buried in the mix.
Nevertheless I was lucky to have attended this concert of the latest incarnation of the Oblivion Express with Alex Ligertwood taking over the vocal duties as 35 years before. No offense meant against Savannah Grace Auger but this more like the REAL Oblivion Express for me. Sound is a little bit different on the second set because I changed the recording position a little bit.
Hopefully you find something to enjoy here despite this limitations. To make a decision, I will post some samples below.
