Here comes another recording from Stonecutter.
This was transferred and flac'd for the first time anywhere.
This was just 3 days before the big Woodstock 99 gig.
Here in Central Park Brian put his ripping guitar riffs squarely in the middle of a 16-piece orchestra that includes five
saxophones, four trumpets and four trombones. Creating a new, fresh version of the swing sound that had everyone at the
park Jumping and Jiving. Mr. Setzer took home two Grammys in 1998 for 'Jump, Jive and Wail' and 'Sleepwalk'.
Two of the songs on 'The Dirty Boogie' went double platinum, selling more than two million copies.
Rich was right up near the front of the stage for this show.
I really enjoyed getting to hear this recording for the first time, more than 15 years after it happened.
The recording levels were noticeably low. I amplifed the volume 15 decibels.
There was a quick tape cut during track 3, with 7 seconds missing. Otherwise this is complete.
If you're a fan of BSO, then this will be something you'll want in your collection.
Brian and his band were on fire and put on a great show for the NYC crowd.
I've added a photo of the poster.
