16 bit version

Taper: Poignant Pros (Binko)
Gear: CA14s > Tascam DR-08
Mastered by }{eywood
Lineage: DR-08 (recording to 24/96 .wav) > USB > Adobe Audition 1.5 (EQ, clap reduction, peak limiting, splits & fades) > Xrecode III (conversion to 16/44.1) > TLH (sector alignment, flac 8)

I don't get why Brian Wilson keeps doing these shows. I have the utmost respect for his work and talent, but that talent fled 50 years ago and he hasn't been able to sing, play or write since then. Listening to him ruin his songs with his off key mushmouthing is really pathetic. He should sit in the front row, be introduced as the mastermind behind the material midway through the show, and sit down an watch talented musicians play the stuff without him holding everyone back. The contrast between the verses of Wouldn't it be Nice, sung by (I think) Mike Jardine, and the middle 8 sung by Brian is shocking. I know the words to this song and I still can't understand him. Retirement has been calling you for decades, Brian. I'm glad you finally heard the call.

This was recorded at the indoor mainstage at Artpark. It's a big wedge shaped building that is very reverberant, so this doesn't sound like the outdoor recordings we make every week at the other stage.
