Brit Floyd
The Beacon Theater
May 12, 2015

I have said this before, but Brit Floyd is no ordinary cover band. Their shows are an outstanding and intense experience: great music, sound, lights and visuals. They split from Aussie Floyd a while ago and in my mind, got the better end of the deal. If you never got to see Pink Floyd, this is as close as you will ever come. The current technology has enabled them to best the original band in sound quality and their background singers alone are enough to justify the ticket price.

This is one of the best pulls I have gotten at the Beacon. As an Allman's fan, I have been to lots of shows at the Beacon, and always thought the sound there was mediocre at best. I don't know whether to give credit to Brit Floyd and their engineers or if there have been changes to the Beacon sound system, but download this show, crank up the volume and Have a Cigar...
