This is one of the first bootlegs I received of Bruce Cockburn. It's still one of my favorites. This was at a time
when BC was in the transitional period between the folksy, pastoral, nature/God loving songwriter and the worldly,
political and somewhat pessimistic songwriter. While I love both and all periods of BC, I especially like the natural
topic of his 70s material which conveys more hope while the 80s-present represent kind of a lack of hope and focusing
on what's wrong in the world. Just my opinion of course. But the diverse song selections convey both sides of his
career.

All editorial aside, this is a STUNNING performance and recording quality. Some rarities on this show like 'I'm Gonna
Fly Someday,' 'Candy Man's Gone,' 'Yanqui Go Home,' and 'Waiting For The Moon' haven't been performed a whole lot
especially in a solo format. An early version of 'Peggy's Kitchen Wall' with a different final verse is an
unexpected treat.
