Dave's notes:
a first-time transfer from my master tape. be aware that this is only the music, all the interviews were cut by myself at the time with (somewhat) judicious use of the "pause" button! i taped this from the MuchMusic FM feed so i would get a better stereo signal back in the bad old days of analog. the TV broadcast signal was a little hissy and low on bass response as you will hear on the bonus tracks. the bonus tracks are taken from a long-lost VHS tape that i transferred as filler for this tape back in the 90's sometime. i recently saw this show posted on dime as an incomplete set and thought i would transfer my master tape. i really enjoy this show, "Nothing But A Burning Light" remains one of my favourite BC albums and this band is especially cooking! love the twin guitar jams with Colin. anyway i hope you enjoy this tape. i am finally starting to transfer my masters onto digital formats. i should be posting some interesting new shows in the days to come. stay tuned!! cheers dave
