Original audience recording by Poor_Yorick located 2nd row, far right in front of stage-left stack, standing members of the audience and hall staff. Lavalier mics clipped to my lapel. If you enjoy high-energy shows you’ll like this one. Bruce and the band were enthusiastically engaged with the crowd from the get-go right through the last number, White-Wheeled Limousine, which marked a second return to the stage for a third encore. He took requests from the audience and at one point during the second set, there were at least 30 fans dancing up on the stage with Bruce and the band. It was nice.

Bruce is currently touring solo. This show with The Noisemakers was one of only two recent shows he did with the band. The other happened the next evening in Telluride. His show in Boulder was also the last show of the summer at Chautauqua Auditorium. It was sold out and a fitting way to end a great season that included John Hiatt, Bruce Cockburn, Shawn Colvin, David Wilcox, Indigo Girls and others. We’ll look forward to next.
