This is a new azimuth adjusted transfer, all other versions should be tossed at this point as this is the first time I've done a proper transfer of the master tapes.

Second night in Dallas and probably my favorite show of all the Born In the USA shows I taped. Had a great location in the balcony right off the stage, always was a bit nerve racking on the floor with 2 foot long mics but on this night nothing stood in the way of the rig and the capture of an awesome show. Little to no crowd noise in the area due to being surrounded by friends (thank you all wherever you may be) and some very considerate strangers. The atmosphere was just right to get a really nice capture of an awesome show.

And what a show it was, night two produced 6 songs from Darkness including a beautiful pairing of Darkness On The Edge Of Town and a rare BIUSA tour outing of Factory. But it didn't stop there with a second set triple shot of an acoustic No Surrender followed by Because The Night followed by Growin' Up!

A couple of things struck me as I was transferring this show, this tour was really carried along and anchored by the awesome work of Max and Gary, you can really hear it in the recording. Secondly, I really miss that warm analog sound capture of a beautifully mixed show.
