This is a very rare boot of Bruce solo on the 2nd night of the show. This performance of the songs have never been issued to my knowledge and review on line. I'd rate it VG VG+ Aud recording (a bit of hiss). It is from my silver disc of Italian boot Post Script - PSCD 1183. The encore Across the Borderline is not on the boot.
He tries out different versions of new and old songs and the banter is all there and very funny. A must have if you like Bruce solo. Here is a different version From Brucebase but for a different boot of the show.
If you have “Prodigal Son At The Shrine” please seed.
And after seeing/living how much work it is to seed a show, my many thanks to all that have seeded here to DIME. What a cool place. Also thanks to the Mods for helping me learn how to do this and making this such a great place for all.
17/11/90 - LOS ANGELES, CA - SHRINE AUDITORIUM
BRILLIANT DISGUISE / DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN / MANSION ON THE HILL / REASON TO BELIEVE / RED HEADED WOMAN / 57 CHANNELS / THE WISH / TOUGHER THAN THE REST / 10TH AVENUE FREEZE OUT / SOUL DRIVER / STATE TROOPER / NEBRASKA / WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT / THUNDER ROAD / MY HOMETOWN / REAL WORLD / HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED / ACROSS THE BORDERLINE
Audience/soundboard tapes - Premieres of “The Wish” and “Soul Driver” – both on the guitar. “Thougher Than The Rest” gets its first acoustic try-out on the piano and “State Trooper” is played on the guitar. The rest of the show is quite similar to previous night’s show. The complete show is released on “Prodigal Son At The Shrine” in correct order and in superb sound. Essential to any collection. Thanks Per.
My upload rate is slowish, so hang in there. If I can put on the MP3 I will. If any one can translate the Italian from the insert, please do.
If anyone is interested I have a tape trade copy of the first night of this show that I can upload. The sound from the previously posted Springsteen, Raitt and Browne 11-16-90 (no longer on DIME I think), was better, but the boot cut out Bruce's stories and banter!! Go figure. Mine has the stories but not the encore.
