New tape transfer of an alternate source.

Following a review with mjk5510 and hrubesh we have established that there are 2 alternative sources with just one previous circulating source. The quality of this alternate source is very good with just occasional minor tape fluctuations, a little mic drift and occasional crowd noise. It appears that the very hot day kept the screamers subdued though there are some token efforts in places. This source is much superior to the circulating source.

2xTDK D90 cassettes.

Playback via Yamaha KX480 tape deck with dolby off and play trim set neutral.

Recorded using Audacity, exported as flac files and tracks split using CD Wave.

Files tested and checked for errors and SBEs using TLH.

This source ran fast so speed correction of 103.1% applied using iZotope RX3 advanced in order to match closer to the speed of the other sources. Azimuth adjustment applied using iZotope.

Some minor issues with this source patched with the other sources kindly provided by hrubesh and mjk5510. My thanks to both of them for their help and advice.

Disk order as per the prior circulating source but other options can be considered. No fades at the end of disks.

Transition from The River to Working On The Highway has an edit with the count at the start missing. Patched with about 10 seconds of the mjk5510 alternate source.

Transition from My Hometown to Thunder Road has an edit with a couple of seconds at the start of Thunder Road missing. Patched with about 10 seconds of the mjk5510 alternate source.

The very start of Cover Me is missing about 2 seconds. About 5 seconds including crowd cheering patched from the circulating source

Transition from I'm On Fire to Pink Cadillac has an edit missing a few seconds of the start. This has been patched with the mjk5510 source which has the complete transition.

Transition from Pink Cadillac to Bobby Jean crossed tapes but overlaps and has been spliced.

Transition from Bobby Jean to This Land Is Your Land has an edit - some applause cut.

Transition from Born To Run to band intro has an edit - some applause cut.
