Stanley Dural, Jr., better known by his stage name Buckwheat Zydeco.
He was an American accordionist and zydeco musician.
He was one of the few zydeco artists to achieve mainstream success.

Here we have something fun and definitely very rare. There really isn’t much live material from Buckwheat Zydeco.
The sound quality is amazingly good on this and it’s probably a first generation copy, but we don’t know for sure.
Thanks to Chazarrelli for supplying the tape transfer and David Babb for assisting with the set list.

As far as the band lineup is concerned, it’s really impossible to know who is in the band during this time.
But I found a lineup from October 1987 and I’ve also compiled a listing for an alternate lineup in 1988.
Both are very different, so I’ve decided to list both of them and it could be even a combination of both.

Band line-up for Oct 1987
Lee Allen Zeno - bass
Dennis Taylor - tenor sax
Anthony Butler alto sax
Melvin Veazie - guitar
Wilbur Willis - rubboard
Nat Jolivette - drums

Band line-up that i compiled
Stanley "Buckwheat" Dural - accordion, vocals (died September 24, 2016 age 68)
Dennis Taylor .- tenor saxophone (died October 17, 2010 age 56)
Patrick "Red" Landry - rubboard, tambourine
Jimmy Reed - guitar
Melvin Veazie - guitar
Lee Allen Zeno - bass
Kevin Menard - drums
