Buckwheat Zydeco

Excellent AUD recording

TheCommish notes: This was my second time seeing Stanley "Buckwheat" Dural, Jr. and his fine band and, I must admit, at age 67 the man STILL puts on a heck of a show. I particularly enjoyed their rendition of the Jimi Hendrix classic "Hey Joe" on this fine summer evening. Thankfully the crowd near me in this closed-street show was fairly well-behaved...not much chatter. And when there was, the music drowned out most of it. Why were people talking during this zydeco master's show, anyway?

Lineage:
Zoom H2 (90 degree mic pattern) > WAV (onto SD card) > Nero wave editor (trim & fade end tracks) > Cool Edit Pro (+6db added to right channel to balance, then volume boost, hard limited to -0.1dB) > FLAC Frontend (sb-aligned) > FLAC

If you like this torrent, won't you please take a moment to post a comment on the board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.
