Personally, I would consider the BG / EC shows from 12-03-85 Dingwalls, 1987-10-06 Ronnie Scots and this gig as once-in-lifetime, I just won the lottery type of shows. I can't image what it must have like to have had the utmost privilege to be seated inside Dingwalls during this performance. But, thank goodness, one (and I believe at least two) recorders were in the audience capturing the magic that evening.

Surprisingly, I've never seen this show upped before, although I'm sure it has, so I don't know how this version compares to what's been previously shared. But I can say a few positive things about this version: 1) It's complete - as all tape changes and flips occured while missing no music. 2) This is unknown gen but certainly low-gen, because of its completeness and very low hiss - unlike the 1985-12-03 show I traded for (about the same time as this show) which is very hissy during the quiet sections.

The one detracting thing about this version is that it appears to be sourced from two different versions. My cassettes have about two minutes of overlap during the slow blues number (see below). The versions appear to be from different sources as the music seems a little more distant and the audience a little louder after the transition, but its not drastic and certainly takes very little away from the enjoyment of the performance.

I included a loud sample and soft sample.
