This venue was an outdoor tent constructed in one of the casinos parking lots before the arena was built.

It held 5,000 seats. It exsited from approx. 2000-2001. I saw BB King there twice and Kiss once.

Recording notes:

The tape flip was during track 7 @ 6:20. After the flip the recorder was giving me problems and shut off seven times.

Those quick tape stops are on track 7 @ 6:48 , 7:06 / track 8 @ 1;20 , 1:29 , 2:10 , 2:35 / track 10 @ 0:22.

I could feel the device click off in my hand. I kept hitting the record button to start it back up. I believe the cassette was having tension problems.

This had never happened before. Once Buddy's set ended I changed tapes for BB King, I didn't have any further problems.

While I have your attention I want to seek some help in finding someone who I know also attended and taped this show.

There is/was a guy by the name of Tom Holland, who lived in the Providence, RI area that I had been in contact with and also traded.

About a year after this show took place, Tom had told me that he taped most of BB and Buddy's show. I asked him for another trade and never heard back from him.

That was 16 years ago, I don't know if he is alive or dead and I would really like to re-connect with him.

If anyone knows or remembers Tom Holland, I'd like to hear from you. This was his old email: tomz420@aol.com. He's probably in his late 50's.

This recording isn't the greatest, but if you crank it up, it's fairly decent and listenable.

It's not my best work, but it's never been traded and no other source has ever surfaced. This will be a new recording for everybody.

Does anybody know the title to track 5?

enjoy

George
