I Had A Pryor Commitment This Night And Didn't Buy A Ticket. Well I Went To The Event And
It Turned Out The Event Got Cancelled. I Thought I Had Enough Time To Go Home And Grab My Mis
And Dat Deck. After I Got Them I Flew Down The Highway And Got To Ravinia With About 20 Minutes
To Showtime. I Stood In Front Of The Entrance And Tried To Find A Ticket. Eventually Some Old
Couple Who Were Big Donors To Ravinia Just Gave Me An Extra Ticket Because They Just Wanted To
Get In. The Seat Was A 20Th Row Center Seat. The Night Was Starting Out Good Already.

Johnny Lang Opened And Played Solo Acoustic. Then Buddy Came Out And Started To Play. From The
Start Of The Show The Sound Was Perfect From My Seat. The Band Was The Tightest I Had Seen Them
Play In A Long Time. "Love Her With A Feeling" Was A Good Jam, But The Highlight For Me Was A
Beautiful Sounding "I Got Dreams" (Otis Redding). "Feels Like Rain" Was Dedicated To Some Friends
Of His Who Just Got Married And Played That Song At Their Wedding. The Backing Vocals Were Great
To The Point Where You Know They Really Practiced It A Lot. The Recording Came Out Great, Probably
The Best Recording I Have Made Of Buddy Guy.
