Buddy Guy 7/22/07, NYS Blues Fest. Syracuse, NY
This is a very nice aud. recording. Not sure of type of microphone used but was told this was recorded on a sony stereo minidisc recorder. Buddy has a habit of starting songs right in the middle of the previous song which makes song cuts challenging. Did the best I could with song titles. Crowd noise is so min. you would think this was a Sbd. Recieved a few other shows from this fest. that I may post. Buddy Guy is a Master showman. I remember quite a few years ago he played a show where he left the club, still playing and walked out to the middle of the street playing his cordless. Stood out there under the street light, with snow falling, his head back just playing away.
Buy his CD's, there all good. But you really need to catch Buddy Live to fully enjoy him.If he's not playing where you can see him try picking up one of his DVD's. He is the Master Showman.
