Located in row E (row 5) left centre in line with left speaker stacks... Excellent upfront recording...

I have seen Buddy Guy countless times over the years. I usually see him every time he comes to town.
This ranks right up there as one of the better Buddy Guy shows in the last few years.
Buddy came out on fire & his level never really died down for the remainder of the show.
He played a very interesting tribute to his late Mother who passed away on the same day of the show (not sure what year).
Buddy Guy shows usually close out at under 90 minutes. This one closed out at just under 2 hours,
so I got a much longer show than usual. It did seem that Buddy was suffering from some sort of cold as
I saw him blowing his nose a lot between songs or when the spotlight was not on him.
This however did not seem to affect his performance which was top notch.

Another really excellent recording by DGB of British Columbia.
The sound is very direct and punchy.
In typical Buddy Guy manner,the extremes between the loud and the soft parts are at times again more than 32 dB.
He really seems to have fun. Hoochie Coochie Man is almost 20 minutes long with lots of soloing and interaction with the audience.
