A great show in a relatively small club. The crowd was really into it. My second time seeing the new trio line up, and it is terrific. Doug Martschs playing just keeps getting better and better, and he now has the space to really get a wide range of sounds out of the guitar; check out the cello-like tones on one of the instrumental parts of I Would Hurt A Fly by way of example.

The recording is pretty good, but there were some talkers near me, who do show up once in a while. Play it loud for maximum effect.

Support the band: Go see them live and buy their music. This recording, though, should never, ever be sold.
