I read somewhere this was meant to be a tribute to Max Roach's Freedom Now Suite, but they played their usual Groidest Schizznits, with many tracks from Rebellum project. They describe themselves as a mix between Funkadelic and Sun Ra, but I franky remember Galliano or Prince, with Guru's Jazzmatazz and Spearhead. Not jazz, soul music with adequate long instrumetal partitures that I mostly enjoyed. This was and open air set under the rain and wind, trasmission had to be faded out as programme run well over scheduled time.
Titles for 01/08/11 need confirmation.
