It was great seeing these three fine musicians again, as its probably been over 10 years since the last time I saw them perform. They always put on a great show. Go to CGTRIO.com to get on their mailing list and make sure you don't miss them when they come through your part of the world.

The concert was in a small chapel built in 1941 at Lowry AFB which has been transformed into a nice, re-vamped part of Denver. The Chapel seating consisted of about 10 rows of wooden, padded pews which weren't the most comortable and you can hear them creak during certain parts of the show. The other challenging thing about recording an acoustic show is that the crowds cheering is much louder than the performance. All of the the applause had to be dropped by about -8.5db to balance the two out. So, all in all, it's a decent recording and a great performance. I missed the first minute of the performance thinking my recorder was running, but instead on pause (I'm still learning the Z4). Sample included.
