Recorded by Mike Martin and Mark "B-Man"

Source: 2 Senheisser MKH 404-tu microphones > Sony D5M w/ Dolby > Maxell MX-90 cassette

Transfer of master: Nakamichi CR3A w/ Dolby > Audigy 4 Pro @ 24/44.1 > editing with NERO >
dithered to 16 bits w/ Audacity > Tracked with CD Wave > Flac (Level 8)

We recorded this show not long after meeting Don in the record store that I worked at.
I remember asking him for permission to record this show but also remember that he did not give it to me.
So with a small bit of guilt I borrowed Johnís recording gear and snuck it into the Whiskey anyhow and
set up in stealth at a table about 15 feet from the stage.
Lucky for us that we were not discovered.
The Captain was not fond of being captured live by amature recorders and was known to make a big scene when he discovered someone doing this.
I sort of remember placing the microphones on the table and covering them with a jacket and
this would be the source of the ruffling noises that can be heard during the quiet parts between songs.
The worst of this ruffling noise was after the first song.
Some editing was done to remove this noise and to splice together the tape flip and
then blend the audience sections back together to make a seamless transition.
Also employed the NERO wave editor to remove the loudest explosive clapping by deleting one clap at a time.

I later went back to the original (edited) 24 bit Wav file and used Audacity to dither the file to 16 bits > tracked with CD Wav > Flac (Level 8)
