Stereo AUD trade tape

Trade tape > Computer WAV > Cool Edit Pro 2000 > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you
Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader (jbk) who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2009-10-17.
The source tape was right-channel-dominant, and I tried to balance it out a bit.
Beyond that, the only thing I did on the computer was place track marks before each piece.
This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs.

NOTES

I've had the Spotlight & Shiny outtakes on constant rotation in my car & it's on my mind to get some more Beefy goodness out here.

My tape for this pair of shows had the date listed as 1977-07-17, but I went with what Detlef's site says.

This one sounds a little better than Show 1, still bass-heavy but a bit more clear.
A superb show IMO.

My source had a tape flip & some between-song overlap after My Human, and I was able to seamlessly edit it together.
The other tape flip was between Bat Chain & Floppy, and I edited the clapping together at that point.
(If those seem like odd flip spots, it's 'cuz Show 2 was continued after Show 1.)

There was a tape flip edit on the original source after On Tomorrow, so I SBE-fixed to that point & used it as the breakpoint between the two discs.

The band intros are after Click Clack, and again after Big Eyed Beans From Venus.
There are other edits here and there between songs on the source tape, but the music pieces are clean & intact.

Excellent versions of Orange Claw Hammer & The Blimp, a fantastic On Tomorrow with lotsa horn improv, and too many others to mention.
One of my fave shows.

These two Golden Bear shows were the last with Drumbo.

I dunno about you, but when I hear stuff this old, I am REALLY grateful that people went and recorded things like this.
And I'm glad traders kept them going around long enough so I could get a copy many years later.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
