Stereo AUD trade tape

Trade tape (4TH GEN) > Computer WAV > Cool Edit Pro 2000 > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you
Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader (jbk) who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2009-10-18.
The right channel was low for the first 27min., and I bumped it up to balance it better.
This bugger was a bit too fast, and so I let Cool Edit Pro have at it.
I let it do a Constant Stretch / ratio of 106 / transpose none / high precision / resample (preserving neither pitch nor tempo).
It turned out alright & sounds about proper now, just needed a SBE fix to get these FLACs; check out the sample.
(I have an 81 Snakefinger show tape also from Rochester & also too fast / also needed the same ratio adjustment; perhaps a series of Roch shows were like that.)
Beyond that, the only thing I did on the computer was place track marks before each piece.
This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs.

NOTES

I've had the Spotlight & Shiny outtakes on constant rotation in my car & it's on my mind to get some more Beefy goodness out here.

It's a bit dodgy sounding for the first couple of minutes, but then settles in for a fine long ride.
Excellent bass for such an old show - sounds rough on computer speakers but excellent on yr home stereo.

Part one of one'a my favorite live Beef evenings ever, almost as good as part two.
This (then) new band is fierce, and this captures them in fine form.

The band intros are after Crazy Little Thing.

I particularly enjoyed Moonlight & My Human.

I dunno about you, but when I hear stuff this old, I am REALLY grateful that people went and recorded things like this.
And I'm glad traders kept them going around long enough so I could get a copy many years later.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
