Comments: Here is a great recording of Carl Palmer's band's show from Hartford. I had seen them twice before at the older Infinity Hall in Norfolk. This was the first time they played the Hartford venue. (Carl played here with Asia in 2014 shortly after the venue opened). The acoustics are pretty nice here. I sat further back than I normally do at this venue, so that the drums wouldn't be as overpowering in the mix, and it worked. They are still very loud, but this is Carl Palmer after all. Carl actually asked the crowd to film "Pictures At An Exhibition" in tribute to Keith Emerson. I might have been the only one who filmed the entire 24+ minutes. Look for a Youtube link in the comments (I have synced this audio up to that video, so that will serve as the sample).

The crowd was great. Enthusiastic in the right places. There is no loud yells, whistles, scream, or inane chatter on this one. This is just a very nice recording.
