After a long hiatus, here is another offering from my collection of Monterey Jazz Festival radio broadcasts. This is the premier performance of "Appearing Nightly at the Black Orchid" which was commissioned for the Festival. Although this recording is from the original FM simulcast, the show was apparently rebroadcast on NPR's JazzSet.

Sound quality: A- overall; slight artifacts due to digital noise reduction (DNR).
