source: WWOZ-FM > RadioShark v2.0.2 > Macintosh MacMini (2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) > aiff > Quicktime 7.6.3 (convert aiff to wav) > wav > xACT v2.07 (level 8 compression) > flac (one large file)

transfer (April 2011): flac file > MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 1.71 > aiff > Bias Peak Pro 6.2.0.21692 (minor editing, see below, split into songs) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 1.71 > flac

re-edit (July 10, 2024): flac files > MacBook Air M1 > X Audio Compression Toolkit 2.55 (recombined into one file) > wav > iZotope RX 10 Advanced v10.4.0.1926 (see editing notes, retracked) > X Audio Compression Toolkit 2.55 (sector boundaries corrected, tagged) > flac

Editing notes (2024 except for the first bullet)
* The volume of the recording was normalized (boosted) 2.2 db;
* Three cable pops just before Track 3 were removed;
* A cable pop at 12:42 into Track 3 was removed;
* A 0.02-second broadcast dropout was closed up at 19 seconds into Track 9;
* At 10:21 into Track 9, I closed up a 0.1-second broadcast dropoutl
* There were numerous broadcast dropouts beginning about 6:13 into Track 13 over about 45 seconds. I closed up 12-15 tiny (+/- 0.10-second) dropouts;
* A -30db notch filter was used to remove the 19kHz FM pilot tone.

Notes
A 5.6-second broadcast dropout at 6:15 into Track 13 could not be repaired.

This over-the-airwaves FM broadcast was recorded remotely (and edited) by Richard Russell (nolataper) using my recording equipment that was hosted by a friend who lived in New Orleans at the time. (I had briefly moved away from New Orleans during this period.) It is not from an online mp3 live stream.
