Carole King at the Royal Albert Hall
July 13th 1989

One of Carole's rare appearances in the UK. It was a real treat. She was on excellent form though typically, a little nervous at times.

The set varied from the ballads to great rockers like Jazzman.

The recording was made on a small Sony WM22 so don't expect miracles but to lovers of Caroles music this is essential.

Unfortunately I only has one cassette and therefore it's not complete but the best part of an hour and a half of great music was captured.

I recorded a couple of the tracks from BBC radio 2 a lttle after but I can't find that tape. Hopefully someone might be prompted to dig out their copy now.

The last track with Sherri Goffin singing, is complete but the ending is a little messy and abrupt and there is a tape break in the middle but should not be too obvious as it's during the introductions.

Hope you like it!
