Never really seen anything like this where an artist literally melts down in front of a packed crowd. From the start it was clear that Chan Marshall did not prepare anything for this headlining set when she delayed an hour even coming out pushing the start time close to 1AM. It was her as a solo artist tonight, no other musicians and clearly the spotlight is not what she wanted. The audience went from awe to whispering her encouragement as her ramblings and banter went on. However, she was coaxed to stay a good 80+ minutes, taking requests and interacting with the crowd. Exactly none of the songs I'd hoped she'd play appeared, in fact, I'm not even sure where the tracks should end and begin here. Overall, it was interesting and frustrating at the same time but I guess you could say the same of her music on record.

Setlist help appreciated

By the looks of the line-ups this is the best "mini-festival" put on by Burger Records throughout the year (and there are several). Kind of billed as the all-girl-band outing, it's the 2nd time I've made the trek to attend and it did not disappoint. There is the main room as well as a couple side room stages going on along with outdoor festivities...more than enough to make an entire day of it x2. I taped 18 sets in 2 *full* days...all to be posted here.
