This recording was a big deal for me and it almost didn't happen. This is the 100th show I have recorded and even though it's only really a a big deal for me, I was really excited about it. I went out for dinner before the show at a nearby chinese restaurant. On the walk over to the theatre I started to rearrange the stuff in my pockets in anticipation of maybe being patted down on my way in. To my horror, the little bag containing my mics was missing. I walked back to the restaurant realizing that I could have dropped it virtually anywhere over the previous 3 hours while I wandered manhattan. Fortunately the bag had landed under my seat at the restaurant and was still there. Phew!
