Charlie Musselwhite "Big Band Blues" - Regent Theatre, Palmerston North, New Zealand 23-Oct-08


Some of you may remember my Charlie recording from the same venue just over 2 years ago. I enjoyed that show more, as Charlie did a full set with his own band. This was billed as Big Band Blues - Charlie Musselwhite with the Rodger Fox Big Band. I assumed Charlie would headline with his own band, and RFBB opening.... bzzzzzzzzzt, wrong. The first set was RFBB, and the 2nd set was Charlie with RFBB.

I also recorded with:
SP-CMC-8 (AT943 / Cardioid caps) -> SP-SPSB-11 Battery Box -> Edirol R-09. They sound pretty much the same to my ears.
