Charlie Watts Sidesteps:
The A, B, C & D of Boogie Woogie-series

This series is dedicated to the Boogie Woogie side-project of Charlie Watts between 2009 - 2012. All song titles were not identified yet. Also there are many instrumental improvisations (which haven't got any song title at all) and there might be some mistakes.
Any help is welcome!
Thanks to all the original recorders and especially to nzb and Jaap (Stonesmuziekfan) who provided me their recordings, gave critic and advice regarding my work …. So without whom this project wouldn’t have been possible!

* tracks without Charlie Watts

As usual all the infos are taken from The Rolling Stones Complete Works Database by Nico Zentgraf http://nzentgraf.de/books/tcw/works1.htm.
For this show we had two recordings. The first one had a slightly better sound but the second one included as short intro an interview with Charlie Watts in company of the other band members: so I decided to keep the interview as an introduction for this show.

Great quality recording from the broadcast of French radio “TSF” but with annoying comments of the host, especially for the non-French speakers!
I amplified the sound (+5db) and cut some digital noise at the end of the host’s intro.
This show is incomplete and had two breaks for advertisements. After « Evolution Blues » came the first gap and when the broadcast resumed the last seconds of « Keep A Knockin’ » can be heard. The second gap came after the intro of "Sympathy For The Drummer" (so this track is cut in two parts and probably 1 minute is lost).
First it was assumed that David Sanborn was guesting: but is fact is Xavier Richardeau! No doubt about it: in french the host explains that Xavier Richardeau is the boss from the Duc Des Lombards jazz band and played in the past with David Sanborn... Because the name of D. Sanborn can be heard the non-french fan mistook it and thought he was the one playing! Xavier Richardeau plays on two tracks here with the ABC&D Of Boogie Woogie.
