comments:
Believe it or not, this was the 1st of 2 shows, which means Chick played about 6 hours
this night. there may be a tape flip cut or 2 in this, but only a few seconds are missing.
It's a clean recording, still before the high quality days of NPR live broadcasts.
this show was incompletely posted previously here (on dime) by another uploader,
maybe as long ago as 2 years with about half as much as here. Rather than just
post a "companion" to that (which is likely off the tracker now) with just
the other tracks not in there, I thought it better to just post it all since this
is all from my FM master tapes. It was a bit of a "cram" to get this on 2 CD's but I did it
without cutting or speed altering anything or any re-ordering of sequence. (I would never
do that in an upload, except in a very few cases re-ordering a long show to fit on 2 or 3 CD's.)
I would have started disc 2 with Joe Farrell's introduction but it doesn't quite fit on 2
(80 minute) discs that way. the first time this was posted it had almost no setlist at all.
this time there's only two unknown titles, so new fpt and md5 and some info. file corrections,
but the FLAC files are the same as before except the addition of titles.
the info file previously had the date listed as June 18, 1978, although the torrent file said
June 30. the correct date is the 30th, (just checked the tapes to make sure) and I have corrected
that here.
do not sell this recording.
Trade freely and losslessly.
