Welcome to Volume 33 of the TapeTyrant Archive Series, working through TapeTyrant's master tapes for the phenomenal "TapeTyrant Master Series" revealed an additional cache of gems. His collection not only boasts an exceptional archive of masters, but it also includes an impressive array of uncirculated first-generation recordings and soundboards.
Since these rare gems can't be incorporated into the Master Series yet deserve recognition, we've devised a companion collection. Enter the "TapeTyrant Archive Series"a creative showcase featuring uncirculated soundboards, primarily first-generation audience captures, and unique upgradesall curated to share the full depth of TapeTyrant's archive.
Chick Corea & Gary Burton played the Blue Note from March 29th to April 3rd. We've shared TapeTyrant's two master audience captures as Volume 89 & 90. We are pleased to add an entry to the TapeTyrant Archive Series with a SB capture of the first set of night three.
A big thanks to Goody on this one for the extra assistance taming a bit of tape flutter and the usual pitch check due to its Master cassette origin.
We owe TapeTyrant a big debt of gratitude for allowing me the honor of mastering and sharing his archives with all of us in what I hope are the definitive editions.
Get into those closets, basements and attics and let's get those uncirculated captures and upgrades out...no tape left behind.
Artwork is included.
