Tapers Notes:

Neither Chick Corea nor Gary Burton needs any introduction, so I will dispense with
that.

As for the concert and the pairing, its like Mozart Meets Bebop, sort of a cross
between chamber music and jazz. This is thinking person's jazz, the kind of jazz
you'll put on Sunday morning while drinking coffee.

This is a small, quiet auditorium--you could hear a pin drop. Thats the good news.
The bad news is that this is a quiet small, quiet auditorium--you could hear a pin
drop. So every clap, cough or laugh is quiet audible, over any music. I really
didn't want to spend the 2 hours to compress and edit the applause out, and the
crowd was nice enought to let the musicians finish each song before clapping,
so I took the unusual step for me to redact all applause. So this will play
ike a classicalconcert. If you find my mastering technique on this gig offends you,
then don't download this and move on. STFU. Also, those green rechargeable
batteries failed at the 1:36 mark, so if you want the last ten minutes of the
concert, call up Al Gore. Upped on the Dime, March 2011.--Regards, Scooter.
