I recorded this radio broadcast on my cassetterecorder way back when. Chip Taylor played with a band/some guys he just met the day before
If my memory serves me right there were interviews as well, but I must have recorded only the music.

I transferred the audio from the cassette to my HD and found out that after over 40 years the tape had some minor problems.
After my good friend and fellow-Dimer Lievelex took out most of the hiss is was quite OK already.
I changed ("pimped") the sound a little bit in Music Cleaning Lab and there it is: I don't want to sound full of myself, but I think it turned out pretty well.

Lineage: FM-radio -> cassette -> harddisc -> Wetransfer to Lievelex and back to me -> music cleaning lab (editing and extra sound adjustments) -> WAV to FLAC -> Dime -> you

I met Chip Taylor once on a record fair in Utrecht where he played with John Platania. Had I had recording gear like I have nowadays I would have recorded that performance completely.
Afterwards I got the chance to shake his hand and talk. He took all the time. Told me about the difficulties to release his older LP's on CD. (legal rights and difficult record companies)
He is a really nice, down to earth, guy.

Chip Taylor is coming to Holland this fall. With John Platania. And I'm goig to be at one of his concerts. No doubt about it.

It was quite a bit of work before it could be uploaded on Dime.
