Opening act for Robert Cray. I had never heard of her and when we asked
while waiting outside the house security people didn't even know her name.
Not knowing what to expect I still was ready to record. The band was
comprised of an attractive singer, a guy placing acoustic guitar and a guy
playing percussion. She was also signed by a producer who works with
Fleetwood Mac who got hassled by security for taking pictures on his phone.
She has a nice voice and a good stage presence. Some covers and some of her
own songs. The rest of the band was so-so. If she had some active management
with her singing in front of a really good band becoming a star. In other
words, far more talent then others who have become stars. Will that happen,
who knows.
