A Doodee Music Master Recording

"If it's a DOODEE, you know it's the SHITŪ"
- Stripeydave 2008

This post is all about freely sharing some great music, spreading the vibe of these bands, increasing sales of their goods and attendance at their shows and having a little fun.

My second opportunity to see The Chris Robinson Brotherhood in three months. As much as I enjoyed the Asheville show in September, I felt this one in Charlotte absolutely blew that one away. The band is really clicking and the performance here is outstanding. I'm becoming a bigger Neal Casal fan practically by the minute. Neal's playing is some of the most melodic I've heard and he plays with such a tasteful economy that perfectly fits the vibe Chris has goin' on with this project. I thought Adam really shone through at this show as well - very nice work on the keys and he seemed to be featured more. Of course Chris is the man who mixes all the parts, smelts 'em with soul and always seems to produce a diamond. And as if it wasn't enough to have the band firing on all cylinders, check this setlist! We got nods to Willie Dixon, Three Dog Night/Hoyt Axton, The Grateful Dead and a very yummy double dip o' Dylan. As usual, no pig in a poke here - samples included. Check them and cast your vote accordingly. Y'all enjoy.
