This marks the 100th upload from the Ken G. Collection that I've transferred and shared here on Dime.
As far as i can tell, there might be another 100 or more to go.
Here's a brand new Clarence Clemons recording transferred and Flac'd for the first for everyone to enjoy.
There were quite a bit of mic problems causing the left channel to drop out from time time.
Luckily i was able to copy and paste the right channel over in those quick spots and smooth it out. You won't be able to tell where that happened.
There were a few spots i wasn't able to fix, noted below.
Recording Notes:
Clarence Clemons plays during Tracks 08 through 26.
Track 01 starts late and cuts in.
The first tape flip between tracks 11 and 12 is very quick, only a few spoken words missing.
Track 20 cuts in due to a tape flip. There is a quick dropout at 1:10.
Track 21 has a dropout at 5:10.
Track 22 cuts off at 55 seconds. Something happened with the recorder and all it did was record tape noise for the next 5 minutes.
Track 23 this should have been the rest of tarck 22, but is completely silent except for some tape noise.
This lasts for 5 minutes. I decided to leave it in. you can choose to omit this track.
Track 24 cuts in, mic is working again.
During Track 24 Clarence mentions a power shortage around 4 minutes in, for a few seconds and also there is some random bad mic connections,
causing a repeating popping sound in both channels. This track includes band introductions.
Check out the samples, The quality is pretty good.
I need help with some of the song titles. Chime in if you know.
