The Claypool Lennon Delirium at the House Of Blues, Boston, MA, August 26, 2016, audience recording.

This was recorded with Zoom H2 with internal mics, on the low mic gain setting. H2 lined into computer by USB, wav sent to Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12. Magix program was used for track markings, and an edit, removing a short portion when I had to go to the bathroom. Flac created with Trader's Little Helper, SBE and torrent work also done with TLH.

The sound on this gets a solid A-. Most of it certainly sounds pretty freakin' good. I recorded from a little closer than I usually get at the HOB, probably about ten rows of heads back from the stage, a little towards the right side (left side to the band) of the room, near the security perch and the merch. I was recording track 16 from the bar when it started, so it gradually gets clearer. Track 17 has about two minutes edited out, because I had to go to the bathroom, and I didn't have any peeps with me. The edit is obvious, but not too bad. I included lots of sub-par (and a few awful, and even fewer really nice) cell-phone photos. I made the decision to go to this show the day before it, and I'm really glad I did. This was WAY different than the other time I saw Les, which was as half of Duo De Twang. I also had never considered seeing Sean Lennon before, and this seemed too good to miss. I was right in doing so. These guys are a pretty obvious pairing, and Sean is a really good guitar player, as well as a great lyricist. I am glad that this was my introduction (besides those POB recordings I got from here). I'd go see them again. For a rare change, I actually got into the venue on time, and actually recorded the opening band's full set. They are called Jjuujjuu, and if anybody would like to hear that, let me know. The crowd was annoyingly chatty during most of the show, but the opening set is plagued by shitheads. The recording still sounds good.

Don't sell, try not to circulate as lossy. Enjoy!
